		Fall 2006 McGrath Family Farms 1st official news letter Dear Eaters, Well this is very long in coming, but I hope to keep this more consistent and eventually habitual. As I hope most of you know our farm is located north of Camarillo in the Oxnard plains and is mostly all organic. We use 30 acres to direct market our produce at 7 Farmers Markets, and more or less 40 restaurants, the purpose of this newsletter will be to keep everyone informed on current events at the farm (i.e. crops, weather, special events, etc..) Right now we are in the final phases planning our onsite produces stand. With it will come more farm tours, a u-pick operation and eventually a Community Supported AG program (C.S.A.) The idea for a C.S.A is basically when a family gives the farmer money in advance to grow the crop and the farmer then provides a weekly box of produce at that family.
